Marvelous March

I can't miss sharing my gratitude list for the month of March.  For me, God made the month  truly marvelous!!!

  1. First of all, I’m so thankful to the Lord for his grace that I was able to finish the book of Mark and Leviticus before the month ended.  This for me is the greatest achievement I ever accomplished for the month. Despite hectic schedule as a mother, wife and full-time employee, his Holy Spirit inspired me to know more of HIS will. Reading the Bible is one of my commitments for the year and I pray that this will be fulfilled by His grace.
Ø   Book of Mark – The last three chapters of the book was indeed very inspiring. It reminded me again of the Lord’s sacrifices at the cross and His unconditional love for me. Because of what He did, I am redeemed, sanctified, no longer condemned. Thank you Jesus! Remined me as well of how I got to know Christ as my Savior and Lord.  I learned about HIM when I was six years old through a Baptist church nearby our house. However, I learned Christ-like living when I was in college.  It is always good to be reminded where we came from and that the years of being a christian does not count. What matters most to the Lord is our personal relationship with HIM, our daily walk with HIM.

Ø  Book of Leviticus – Chapters 20 and 21 emphasized on the instruction of Moses to Israelites to sanctify their lives. Israelites as the chosen people of God are called to be like HIM – to be holy.  It spoke the same way to me. This desire of God impressed on me to be righteous and holy like HIM.  I am like an Israelite, a chosen servant.  I am called to be holy, to offer a living sacrifice. I cannot do it on my own but only through His grace and mercy.  Holiness, righteousness and a sanctified life should be our response to the love HE showed at the cross of calvary. Again, I am humbled by HIS word.  The two books are consistent with what the Lord desires for us to do - LOVE by rememering the cross and BE HOLY like Him.

  1. Second praise item was the Parenting Seminar. It was very informative, inspiring and full of wisdom. I thank God for this opportunity to learn. Honestly, before I decided to enroll in the series, the four sessions were in conflict with my small group every Friday. Thought I would like to just hang around with my small group. But after the four days, every hour I spent in that room, listening to all speakers, I can say that it was all worth it! Thanks to my husband who pushed me to attend and finish all sessions. It was very different from the books I’ve read on Parenting. The testimonies made all the biblical tips more alive. The speakers all inspired me to be a responsible parent in guiding our children in a godly way.
  1. Thirdly, we made sure that last month of AL's vacation will be memorable and enjoyable. There were so many events that we all kept in our treasured memory box.
Ø   Refreshing Worship Night held last March 3.  This was the third time I attended worship night with AL.

Ø     It was a long time if I recall the last time we watched a worship concert. Planetshakers Concert was truly amazing last March 12.

Ø   Kids were so happy when we visited Ate Elaine's house for her nth birthday last March 14. Took us 1:30am before we leave their home.

Ø   A surprise Fruiquet in the morning before the Manila Bay Cruise in the afternoon of March 20 was fantastic!

Ø     I was so delighted to have a two-day getaway going to Pagudpud last March 23 with the whole family. This is the last vacation we will have before leaves for work abroad.

Ø     Sam wasn't part of the top 3 students in their class but the recognition day last March 30 was a remarkable one. It was the first recognition in his preschool.

Ø     Before the month ended, Leah and I attended a seminar in Manila Hotel. Thank you Jesus for your goodness, grace and love bestowed on me. All glory to you!
